Invest in the City’s Urban Forestry division to improve tree care operations, including trimming and watering, to increase tree survival rate and grow our tree canopy

Deepen partnerships with Indigenous-led and community-led groups to deliver nature stewardship and education programming

Initiate necessary ecological restoration and erosion protection along our waterfront, ravines, and other ecologically significant areas such as Grenadier Pond and the Black Oak Savannah
- Improve public enjoyment of High Park and ensure access for all visitors through trail restoration, maintaining vehicle access on weekdays, adding sufficient accessible parking spaces and drop-off areas, curbing speeding cars and bicycles, and working closely with residents to ensure that community voices are heard in determining the park's future

Implement the City’s TransformTO 2026-2030 action plan to reduce community-wide greenhouse gas emissions.

Scale investment in energy efficiency retrofits for existing residential, commercial, and public properties.

Accelerate residential and commercial adoption of local renewable energy generation and EV charging infrastructure, including piloting solar canopy projects in local Green P Parking lots.

Invest in green, flood-absorbing infrastructure, including residential stormwater management to capture rainwater and reduce flood risk.

Implement an effective Maximum Temperature By-Law to keep rental units at or below 26 degrees throughout hotter months.

Build on the City’s Heat Relief Strategy and Cold Weather Response Plan to reduce negative health impacts on vulnerable populations.
